In the end I guess you could say that I got a little carried away...this project actually cost a lot more than I've ever spent on a project...but it was definitely worth it.

clothes rack
Due to the fact that my wife has a shitload normal amount of clothes for a girl I figured if I wanted to get any closet space I was going to have to get her a clothes rack...buying one is totally out of the question since...why buy what you can make right? Inspired by this design sponge DIY-er...I set out to make a clothes rack.

my new desk
I found this wood in an alley, I think they used to be rafters. For now I'm using legs that I took from a $5 garage sale table...but I hate them because I'm constantly hitting my knees on them...going to have to find a solution...soon.
p.s. please comment on the post below...I don't want to choose between travis and henk...does nobody else need business cards? come on!

portraits
I took this portrait of a philosophy professor here at school for an AIGA event going on in a few weeks...digital - I decided to go black and white because behind him was a red painting that while I was taking the picture seemed like a good idea, but once I took it into lightroom...I realized that it was too overpowering and somehow reflected a lot of red onto his face...
these last two pictures were from a roll of film I took over Christmas break that I finally developed after the darkroom at school got set up...I love film.
